Eight years developing CGI scripts and perl modules professionally
Experience deploying perl and SQL database solutions across various
hosting services and operating systems in both shared and dedicated
server environments
Practical experience integrating MySQL, Oracle and Sybase databases
with perl, PHP and Cold Fusion-based web applications
Six years developing mod_perl applications, mostly using the
CGI::Application framework and HTML::Template exclusively
Four years installing and maintaining Apache mod_perl web servers,

Experience with internationalization/localization projects for the
web including current character set and language-encoding issues,
language fonts, Unicode compatibility and translation systems
Knowledge of current markup standards including XML and XHTML
conformance, considerable experience designing complex HTML and
resolving cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility issues with
HTML, CSS, Javascript and DHTML.
Experience using the prototype and Scriptaculous object-oriented
